    Starborn

    The hydrogen in our breath was born in the first fire. The carbon in our flesh was forged in ancient stars. The iron in our blood was hammered in the hearts of giants.

    Life's Continuum

    From this tree came humankind, the latest branch, not the first. Life is one, and all who live are bound together.
  3. Chapter 8

    A Shared Heritage

    All peoples of Earth are of one origin. For the atoms that shape us were born in the same stars. No nation owns the stars, no tribe claims the cosmos.
  4. Chapter 9

    The Knowing

    We do not fail because we do not know. We fail because knowing does not automatically become living. The wound is ancient: the impulse to hoard, the impulse to strike, the impulse to divide.
