Cosmic Creed
- We are Starborn, forged in ancient furnaces.
- We are Earth's children, shaped by oceans and sky.
- We are life, aware of itself, bound to the cosmos.
- We pledge to guard our home, to safeguard life, and to carry it outward among the stars.
- We pledge to build beyond Earth, upon the Moon, upon Mars, within the Belt, and across the heavens.
- We shall seek knowledge without arrogance,
- and hold belief with open hands.
- We shall change when truth compels us,
- and never cling to comfort over evidence.
- We shall measure our power by restraint.
- And our progress by what we preserve.
- We shall not conquer for glory,
- but build for continuity.
- We shall remember that to expand life
- is not to dominate it.
- And in all that we create,
- we shall safeguard the generations yet unborn.
- We pledge to raise industry with care, to create with accountability, to preserve even as we expand.
- And we shall be more than settlers.
- We shall be heralds of a wiser age, carrying awareness into the void, asking before we alter, and touching worlds with reverence.
- For we are part of the Universe becoming aware of itself, and this is a true metaphor we live by.
- In us the cosmos is reflected, and through our choices it may endure a little longer.
- For in the stars we began, and to the stars we shall return.
- Not to claim eternity, but to carry responsibility farther than fear.
When you close this book, the world will be ordinary again: a room, a street, a hand. But the atoms in that hand were forged in ancient fire, and the breath in your lungs was once the breath of a young Earth. Let the cosmic return to the immediate. Choose one act of care today, small enough to be real, and let it be how the Universe learns you meant what you read.
